Moving among many jobs, organizations and even careers is the new norm, but it doesn’t naturally lead to meaningful work and a fulfilling life. If today’s disruptive world of work leaves you feeling fragmented, we’re here to help you overcome disengagement and drift, and take decisive action to unlock your calling.
Your calling involves using your talents to serve others according to your core motivations. In other words, calling is connection—to the work you love and the people you serve. Living out your calling requires not only self-awareness of what uniquely motivates you, but also the character to develop deeply resonant relationships that promote the best interest of the people you work with and serve.
The Connected Leader course is unique in combining an in-depth approach to relational connection with the power of leveraging your core motivations and calling. The course includes the MCORE assessment of core motivation, which will identify your top 3, or “core” motivations and help you connect your work to what naturally drives you.
Without this vital blend of connection and calling, the odds of finding meaning in your work, and making your greatest contribution, are pretty slim. More likely, you’ll drift through life disconnected and disengaged.
The Connected Leader course will teach you to unlock your unique calling, develop your character, and create resonant relationships with the people you serve.
Because it’s such an intensive program, and we support you throughout the course, we only open registration several times a year and this is your chance to join our first pilot cohort. We’re limiting the pilot cohort to the first 100 people who register. These seats will go fast, so sign up below to be notified as soon as we open enrollment.
I'm Todd Hall, and I’ll be your guide for this course along with my friend and colleague Mike Stallard. Today, we’re both authors, speakers, and coaches experiencing fulfillment from living out our calling. But we’ve both had our share of struggles to get here.
When we finally figured out what it took to make our greatest contribution, we embraced it and haven’t looked back. It wasn’t the answer our culture offers. For too long, we sought out external recognition and drifted according to the expectations of others.
As we examined our lives, we discovered how to make the difference we’re uniquely designed to make. We started and curate ConnectionCulture.com, where our mission is to help organizations improve performance by expanding connection cultures around the world. ConnectionCulture.com has become the go-to resource to help people enhance connection in the workplace. We’ve also been privileged to help develop connection cultures at some of the world’s leading organizations, including the Google, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, MD Anderson Cancer Center, NASA Johnson Space Center, and Texas Christian University.
How did we do it?
We aligned our work around our core motivations, and became intentional about developing our character and cultivating connections that promote the well-being those we serve. We discovered our calling, and began to move toward our greatest contribution.
Unlocking our calling has enabled us to do meaningful work, and to make a difference in people’s lives in a way that bears our unique signature.
We’ve been privileged to work with many influencers and leaders to help them discover their calling and connect to those they serve.
In the process, we’ve learned an important lesson:
Everyone has a calling, and every work situation provides opportunities to fulfill your calling.
What would finding your calling do for you?
At The Connected Leader, we believe everyone leads, whether informally or formally, and everyone has a unique calling that shapes their greatest contribution. Our process is designed to help you customize your development plan around your story and core motivations.
The curriculum is broken up into five distinct modules, each designed to be two weeks long, but you are free to go at your own pace. You’ll have instant access to the entire course, and each week we’ll send you encouraging emails to help you stay on track.
To help you engage with the content more deeply, once a month we’ll do conference calls where students can ask questions and we’ll answer them live.
You can take the course individually, or it can be used as part of an organization’s online leadership development program (bulk discounts are available).
Without application, you’ll just learn ideas that won’t change the way you work and live. That’s why The Connected Leader is a lot more than just content to be consumed. It’s an action-oriented experience that will change the way you relate and work.
In addition to the five teaching modules, you’ll also get:
