When the Newton Institute needed to validate it’s new, ground-breaking MPACT assessment, we engaged with Dr. Todd Hall. Todd came highly recommended by another entrepreneur who also collaborated with Todd to successfully validate their assessment. Todd was both professional and a pleasure to work with. He was a true “thought partner” that educated us with respect to the process of validation and worked with us to define scope, approach, deliverables, and cost of the validation project.
After working with our MCODE team, I asked Todd to assist our team tasked with developing the TRUMOTIVATE - an assessment designed to measure the core motivations of young adults. Todd was material to the very design of the tool, including the original item content, scales, scientific rigor of the items, and the overall results. He is able to understand essentials from the 50,000 foot vision right down to the working models and core elements that make an assessment both rigorous and insightful.
The future of the workplace is forever changed and employers need to embrace a more holistic view of human well-being. Traditional approaches to well-being that focus solely on employee physical and mental health, while important, are no longer sufficient.
I’m a founding partner at Flourishing Metrics where our mission is to help companies promote employee flourishing within the context of new workplace realities in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to bring a more holistic view and understanding of the human person to corporate executive teams - what we call human flourishing. A holistic understanding of employee flourishing requires new measurements and tools.
In partnership with Harvard's Human Flourishing Program, we developed the The Flourish Assessment, a scientifically validated measure of human flourishing. We recently launched the Global Flourishing Research Collective, in partnership with Executive Networks, to study and improve human flourishing among Global 1000 companies.
